Chris Williams — National Youth Keynote Speaker

YOUR identity JUST NEEDED PERMISSION TO EXIST.

What's Up,

Everybody Meet Chris

Chris Williams knows what it feels like to be defined by what you do — and have no language for who you are when it changes.

A former three-time collegiate champion, Chris spent years inside high-performance systems where discipline, work ethic, and status quietly became substitutes for self-worth. When his playing career ended, what followed wasn't failure — it was the unsettling realization that every system he entered next was just another scoreboard waiting to tell him who he was.

One moment of courageous curiosity changed everything. Not a program. Not a coach. A belief he noticed watching young people at every level carry the same silence he once did.

"Performance defines my identity"

That discovery led Chris into a decade of youth development — from substitute teacher to Youth Program Director. He couldn't find anyone naming that experience. So, he created the work himself. What sport revealed in him was never going anywhere. It just needed permission to exist without performance needing to prove it first.

Today, Chris is the founder & Identity Architect of Still Athlete, and a National Keynote Speaker who has connected with more than 30,000 students nationwide since his first keynote in 2022.

When Chris isn't on stage, you might find him running miles around the city, getting another tattoo, or at a local coffee shop ordering shots of espresso at 2pm. Faith, family, and fun help Chris stay focused as a loving husband, a present father of two, and a self-proclaimed master of curiosity.

STUDENTS AREN'T DISENGAGED
THEY'RE DISCONNECTED

Today's students are navigating more than any classroom was designed to hold:

  • Performing for grades in subjects that feel disconnected from their future
  • A skewed sense of personal value shaped by who's watching them online
  • A linear view of success that nobody taught them to question
  • No language for who they are beyond what the people around them believe for them
  • Mentors that don't exist because nobody communicated why they should

Anyone can speak at your event.
Not everyone can MOVE your students!

Chris has spent years in rooms just like yours — watching students perform for everyone else while quietly waiting for someone to notice who they actually are. These talks don't just fill an assembly slot. They create the kind of moment students talk about long after the bell rings.

FOUNDER · THE STUDENT SUCCESS AGENCY

"Being a decorated athlete gives him early street credibility, but by the end, it will be one of the last things your kids latch onto when experiencing his dynamic message. He is creative, comedic, and culturally attuned to today's youth — with an authentic and eclectic charisma that makes him approachable and influential right when he walks into the building."

"Chris was an absolutely fantastic speaker, one of the best I can remember. Even one of our teachers who hates classroom interruptions like assemblies stopped me to say what an amazing speaker Chris was. He had the perfect balance of energy and seriousness and the students were completely tuned in."

Got Questions?

We've got answers.

How long is a typical presentation?
Most presentations run 45–60 minutes. Shorter sessions are possible, but the full experience is where the message truly lands. We'll find the right fit during scheduling.
What grade levels do you work with?
Chris works with students from 7th grade through college. Whether it's a middle school assembly, a high school convocation, or a college orientation — the message meets the room.
Can the talk be customized for our program or theme?
Absolutely. Chris can tailor any of his signature talks to fit your program's goals, theme, or population — and can develop content outside of his signature topics as applicable. Just share what matters most to your students and staff and we'll build from there.
Do you travel nationally?
Yes. Chris is available for national and international travel and holds an up-to-date background check — ready for any campus or program environment. Travel fees are included in the booking costs, and we work to accommodate your schedule.
What do you need from us on the day of the event?
A screen and a space to speak are the only minimums. Chris works with all kinds of setups and never turns down a speech over logistics. He carries adapters for every AV configuration — everything else gets figured out during scheduling.
Do you offer support for Title I schools and grant-funded programs like GEAR UP, TRIO, or Upward Bound?
Chris is deeply committed to serving Title I schools and grant-funded programs — including GEAR UP, TRIO, Talent Search, and Upward Bound. If budget is a barrier, reach out — we're always focused on finding the best solution to make it work.
What happens after the talk?
Chris is available to stay up to an hour after the event to connect with students or staff. Marketing materials are shared following the event, and a debrief call includes feedback results so your team can measure impact.
Do you offer partnership or collaboration opportunities?
For partnership and collaboration inquiries, email info@everybodymeetschris.com. Chris is always open to partnerships that put students first.
