What's Up,
Chris Williams knows what it feels like to be defined by what you do — and have no language for who you are when it changes.
A former three-time collegiate champion, Chris spent years inside high-performance systems where discipline, work ethic, and status quietly became substitutes for self-worth. When his playing career ended, what followed wasn't failure — it was the unsettling realization that every system he entered next was just another scoreboard waiting to tell him who he was.
One moment of courageous curiosity changed everything. Not a program. Not a coach. A belief he noticed watching young people at every level carry the same silence he once did.
"Performance defines my identity"
That discovery led Chris into a decade of youth development — from substitute teacher to Youth Program Director. He couldn't find anyone naming that experience. So, he created the work himself. What sport revealed in him was never going anywhere. It just needed permission to exist without performance needing to prove it first.
Today, Chris is the founder & Identity Architect of Still Athlete, and a National Keynote Speaker who has connected with more than 30,000 students nationwide since his first keynote in 2022.
When Chris isn't on stage, you might find him running miles around the city, getting another tattoo, or at a local coffee shop ordering shots of espresso at 2pm. Faith, family, and fun help Chris stay focused as a loving husband, a present father of two, and a self-proclaimed master of curiosity.
Today's students are navigating more than any classroom was designed to hold:
Anyone can speak at your event.
Not everyone can MOVE your students!
Chris has spent years in rooms just like yours — watching students perform for everyone else while quietly waiting for someone to notice who they actually are. These talks don't just fill an assembly slot. They create the kind of moment students talk about long after the bell rings.
A student-centered speaker with a rare blend of comedy, vulnerability and curiosity.
Making everyone in the room feel Seen, Heard, and Valued.
Identity 's Permission to Exist
You don't need performance to exist. Give yourself permission.
Understanding Your Value
An overpriced bag of chips taught Chris everything about self-worth. What's your price?
Adversity Is Your Best Friend
Adversity isn't the enemy. It's the uninvited guest who stays and changes everything.
Leadership From The Back Seat
You can't lead what you can't see. It's time to change positions.
The Ultimate Cultivator
Every educator is asked to be everything to everyone. Jack wasn't. Meet Jack.
